Imagine
that you have just moved into the home of your dreams. Your new home is
perfect in every way. Lots of beautiful exposed beams, real hardwood floors,
walnut paneling, pine cabinets, cedar closets, oak countertops, a cedar
shake roof, and to top it off a real wood burning stove for heat.
Now, can you imagine what
would happen if someone came along and dumped a load of termites into your
basement? If you found out about this right away you could call the pest
control folks, and they would come and take care of the problem.
Now just suppose that you are
one of those people that never explore your basement. You just never went
down there. The termites were there month after month after month.
Now imagine it's
Thanksgiving. All your children and close relatives have gathered to
celebrate and give thanks except one old grouch who does not like anybody.
Who does he belong to anyway?
You and your guests could be
in for a big, big surprise. Those floor joints, rafters, floors, paneling
and cabinets might be ok with just you around. But now all these people
start stressing your house. Once the party gets into full swing the whole
thing could come down around your ears in a cloud of dust, rotten wood and
termites.
This is exactly what can
happen to your body if you allow your mineral deposits to run out by living
in the "fast-lane" and financing fast-food restaurants. You may
not realize that you have a problem until it is too late - one day you just
collapse under the stress. This is what is happening to people all over the
country. The sad part is that is does not have to happen; you do not have to
be a victim of mineral deficiency.
Minerals are absolutely
essential to our physical and mental well being. The body's biochemistry is
95% driven by minerals. Minerals serve as co-factors or activators in
enzymatic systems. They are the basic part of all cells, especially blood,
nerves, muscles, bone teeth and all soft tissue. The absence of only one
mineral can adversely affect our health. For instance: if the soil is
deficient in iodine, people living in that area may develop goiters. You may
be presently using a multiple vitamin/mineral or even a liquid mineral
supplement and still not getting sufficient coverage because there is a vast
difference in types of minerals.
Chelated Minerals -
Recognizing the difficulty in assimilation of the elemental or metallic
minerals, the natural food industry came up with a way to increase the
bioavailability of metallic minerals. They use a man-made amino acid and
attach it to the metallic mineral to make a chelated mineral that is 40-50%
big-available.
Plant Derived Colloidal
Minerals are a unique class of minerals and are superior to metallic or
chelated types because of their small particle size (1/6000th the size of a
red blood cell).
I hope you can see how very
important a full spectrum of minerals are to our health and longevity. I
highly recommend a product that contains minerals in a liquid ionic form,
antioxidants and phytonutrients.
